One Year

Yesterday we marked Bear's first birthday with a nice low key day at home. We took the chance to enjoy our littlest one and all the things he loves to do.

I did squeeze in a quick birthday photo session, but thanks to teething I had a hard time coaxing a smile.

After a nap, we enjoyed playing with Bear's new jumbo ball….a birthday gift both Belle & Peanut have since requested.

I attempted a sibling shot since I never got one at the party on Saturday…this was the best I could do.

We then set up for a dinner celebration with the grandparents and Theo N. I whipped up turkey meatballs with fresh mint, chablis-mustard roasted potatoes, and a salad.

After dinner we serenaded Bear. He was much more intrigued this go around with both the candle and the cupcake itself.

The night wrapped up with presents, playing and tub time.

Crazy to think that a year ago I was sitting in a hospital holding my newborn. It has been quite the year and having this little man in our lives is a blessing beyond measure. To many more birthdays my sweet baby boy!
